There are a lot of companies (and funds) trying to operate like banks. The most famous is Bill Gross. He sold long dated derivatives to fund the short dated purchases.

1- Want to know who can benefit (ST, b/c in the LT we're all dead) from the addtnl tariffs? $MHK. In early 2018, $MHK asked for tariffs on LVT tile from China. They then cut costs & have started optimizing its own domestic LVT plant that opened in the last couple of years.
